Malformed Instagram feed responses now remain marked as incomplete captures. FollowFrame keeps existing cached content available while a later refresh retries.
Instagram captures now keep verified Following membership separate from feed-scan completeness. Interrupted scans and background refreshes continue to exclude accounts you do not follow. Older cache entries wait for membership validation before playback; the original cache stays intact while that check is pending.
Logout stays available while Instagram capture is running. Settings waits for sign-out to finish and shows a retry option if it fails.
Settings now keeps its header and Apply controls visible while the content scrolls. Account controls, capture progress, validation messages and unsaved changes are easier to find in smaller windows.
Connecting Instagram now hides the sign-in window and starts caching the wall as soon as the feed is ready, without restarting FollowFrame. Reopening an already loaded account window also resumes the connection handoff.
Following-feed capture continues beyond the first four pages toward the past 24 hours. Interrupted scans keep the existing wall and show a limited-capture notice. Refresh progress also survives the pending refresh response instead of resetting to 0%.
Local-folder choices now survive overlapping saves. Disabled folders remain visibly disabled, and an older scan cannot restore nested media after Include subfolders is turned off.
If Apply fails while you are making another Settings edit, your newer edits stay available for correction and retry. Values from the failed Apply that you have not edited again return to their saved values. Disabling anonymous active-use sharing also cancels queued work before it starts a new request.
Start on login now uses the portable EXE you launched, so it can still run after temporary runtime files are removed. Keep that EXE in a stable folder. After moving it or opening a newer EXE, turn Start on login off and Apply, then turn it on and Apply.
How updates work
FollowFrame checks the public release record at most once per day without sending an installation identifier. Updates remain manual: review the notes, download the new EXE, and verify its checksum.

For the previous 0.3.13 EXE, the Avast detection reported during WinGet validation remains unresolved. Read the 0.3.13 validator report. A newer version does not establish that this earlier detection was a false positive.
